Produced in association with Concept4, this commission was essentially to help a school send positive messages into its local community about its improving results, excellent atmosphere and happy, ambitious students. The video needed to appeal to parents and students alike.
Shot over two days at the school and following an extensive planning and research period working alongside Marketing for Education, the final video is a five-and-a-half minute snapshot of life at the school driven by honest but carefully-edited interviews with staff and students. The graphical style, bespoke music and pace of the video is evident from the outset. The video is very exciting and reflects the buzz around the college and the levels of activity throughout the day. We also made the decision to involve an interview with a set of parents to directly appeal to the parents of potential students who could empathise with fellow parents' hopes and ambitions for their children.
We found the team that worked with us on our very well received DVD to be a creative unit which developed the ideas that we had very successfully. They were very professional in dealings with staff and students and flexible enough to accommodate changes to original ideas and schedules. The level of production was superb, and we felt thoroughly involved at every step of the way... a very impressive service and a quality product.
