What we delivered:

Shot over two days on location in Dover, the video is based on an insight we gathered for the school's ethos and atmosphere during a dedicated site visit - a standard part of the Affixxius Education service. The video looks to strike a balance between the history and tradition on which the school is based and the modernity and forward-thinking ambitions signified by their transition to an "Academy with Military Traditions". As a full boarding environment, the school were keen for us to show both the life of a student in the classroom and their lives as they grow up under the guidance and care of the boarding staff. We looked to stress the hugely caring and supporting nature of the boarding provision at the school, most directly through a series of interviews with older and younger students to show how significantly the lives of children with parents in the Armed Forces are impacted by the work of the school. We looked to 'time' our filming with a key ceremonial event in the school calendar, which gave us an invaluable opportunity to capture one particular side of the school which was both significant to our potential audience and very visually impressive. The end result is a proud, honest representation of the school with a real sense of looking forward to the future as well as looking back with pride.
